Golf Management Company Club Care has taken over the management of Tallwoods Golf Resort based in the mid – north coast of NSW, Australia. Tallwoods is a marquee international golf resort and real estate development.
As with many developments of this nature, repeated owners have been challenged to operate the site cost-effectively.
A very active and loyal membership-base underwrite the community at Tallwoods. When Club Care took over the site, they immediately held an information evening to inform members or their intentions.
Club Care selected its team, downsized from the previous employment levels, but formed as a unified team, with Golf Pro Jeff Mendham, taking on the role of Director of Operations. Jeff reports to Club Care about all aspects of the operations – maintenance, hospitality & golf.
Limited course renovations had occurred for many years, so Club Care oversaw immediate and timely renovation of all greens. Landscaping was undertaken to enhance the amenity and introduce colour to the site, whilst reducing some of the unnecessary maintenance needs.

Two new eating venues were introduced – Poppies a la carte restaurant and Slice Brasserie, along with house made pies & wraps via the Slice Café. Hospitality has been enhanced and is contributing to a significant financial turnaround at the site.
