Im having a couple problems with my golf swing and I dont really know how to fix them. So I am thinking about getting a golf instructor.
where are you located? ill find 1 for you if i can
best i can do is this follow this link, i hope this helpshttp://dyn.pga.com/searchtools/instructi…
unfortunately I’m in Melbourne Australia
My personal experience with instructors is that they are very expensive and don’t always know how to help. I’ve taken lessons before and it seems that the instructor will tell me what I’m doing wrong with my swing but doesn’t really tell me how to fix the problem.
I think the best thing to do is try and find as many tips online about the problems your having and go to the range and start working it out yourself.
This has been the best cure for my swing.
Hope this helps. For golf swing tips visit: http://www.simplegolfsswingsystem.com

Find the best public golf course in your area. Call and ask for their PGA “teaching pro” or Club Pro..These are people that have gone to school to learn to teach golf.
With your swing just make sure you are not trying to “copy” someone else like Tiger, etc. The golf swing is a natural movement very unique to you and has to be if you expect to repeat it 50 some times in a round. Look at the Greats…they all have vastly different swings, but produce the same results.
Just put a driver in your hand and just swing it….don’t think about it…just swing it. Let your 67% of your brain dedicated to hand eye cordination take over. Swing in TEMPO in rythym. THis is what you can take from the Greats like Couples, perfect TEMPO. Just try it at the range….no thinking, little effort…just hit it.
You can tell by sound if you are in Tempo. The shaft makes a swooshing sound as it rips through the air. It should only Swoosh at the bottom of your swing…listen for it. you can over exagerate this by hold the driver with the head in your hands and swing, maing the swoosh only at the bottom….You may think you won’t even clear the ladies tees with such an easy swing but what you are doing is letting the $300 club + $200 shaft work for you…you paid for it !
I am sure you have duffed a few off the first tee as everyone stands around and watches you humiliate yourself, as we all have done before. ANd we just say to ourselves, “just hit another one and get the heck out of here”…not thinking about the mechanics of the swing…and RIP it is your best drive ever ?….my point.
Don’t overide your brain…just tell it what you want, commit to it, and execute it…you will be amazed at how well you already know how to hit a golf ball.
Also, make sure your clubs fit YOU. Go get them fitted by a professional fitter…it is only about $5 a club but very very crutial.
Find the best instructor by contacting the state organization for golf in MO. They will provide you a list of the best teachers and you go from there. You might also ask some of the better golfers in the area who they would recommend .
